Need 5 VP level Java Developers with FLEX
Must have minimum of 10 years of experience, counting graduate level work.

Must specialize in Front End or GUI Development.
Must be able to develop visually appealing GUI's, for/with Rich Internet Content.
Must be able to connect FLEX front end to Java Middle Tier and ideally participate in some of the Core Java Middle Tier Development.
Must be able to work with users to define requirements and challenge users on business requirements - how solution will work and what it should look like.
Must have at least some FLEX, but the more the better, ideally they want GUI developers with a deep expertise in FLEX.
Technology called LCDS (Life Cycle Data Services) by Adobe is a big plus.
Must have some/basic database development skills, ie: code SQL Queries, Indexes, Tables.

Will also work with time series technology called KDB - they do not need to know, but will have opportunity to learn.

Base 120-150K, +bonus. Ideally they're hiring most of the five developers in the 175-200K total pkg range, but they will pay more for super star Java/Flex developer!

The candidate will also enhance and support the existing applications within the GSS team and must have at least 10 years of Core Java development experience in JDBC, Swing GUI, and multi-threading.

Minimum 5 years of Core Java development experience (especially JDBC, Swing GUI, and multi-threading).
* Application Server development skill is a must, preferably with WebLogic.
* Unix shell scripting skill is a must, preferably on Redhat Linux.
* DBMS development skill, such as writing DDL and DML, is a plus.
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science is a must.
* Masters degree in Computer Science is a plus.
* Knowledge of equity markets is necessary and domestic self-clearing is a big plus.
* Highly motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and strong communication skills.
