Role will entail building new applications for the banking department. The position will require working with cross-functional technology teams and end users to define and execute both tactical and strategic deliverables. To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities, vendor capabilities, as well as proprietary system builds.

The candidate should have extensive hands on experience delivering rich internet applications. This is a permanent position located in New York.

Must Have:

•Strong Java programming skills
•Strong experience using Adobe Flex, AIR, ActionScript and Flex frameworks i.e. Pure MVC, Cairngorm, Mate
•Web technologies like Servlets /JSP / Struts, JSON, Java Script etc
•Good working knowledge of Hibernate and Spring
•Sense of leadership, able to lead a small team and meet deadlines
•Good analytical and design skills
•Good communication skills

Should Have:
•Retail banking knowledge
•PERL and Shell Scripting
•Understanding of AOP, IOC, SOA, ESB a plus.
