This position is to serve as senior java developer in Bank IT.
The position will require working with cross-functional technology teams and end users to define and execute both tactical and strategic deliverables. To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities, vendor capabilities, as well as proprietary system builds.
The candidate should have extensive hands on experience delivering high performance middle ware services. This is a permanent position located in New York.
Must have:
•Strong Java programming skills
•Should have working knowledge of OO, XML, MQ and Apache CXF.
•Good working knowledge of Hibernate and Spring
•Linux
•Database design
•Sense of leadership, able to lead a small team and meet deadlines
•Good analytical and design skills
•Good communication skills
Should Have:
Retail banking knowledge
Basic knowledge of Adobe Flex is a plus.
PERL and Shell Scripting
Understanding of AOP, IOC, SOA, ESB a plus.
