Southern USA Prop Firm
Core Trading / Core Trading Platform Team which is also responsible for GUI development for firm.
Looking for C# Developers.
Aiming to hire 2-3 in 2010
Ideally with both Winforms and WPF for presentation (GUI )layer.
Must have at least 2-3 years of experience, but ideally 5-10.
Preference for C# GUI developers who can also participate in Server Side VC++/WIN32, but not required.
In general, key with this manager is to get hard core programmer who has computer science degree and a deep understanding of all the computer science concepts behind their development.
Range of 80K-110K base +bonus. They may go a little hire for experts, but keep in mind location, someone making 125K in Chicago or NYC will be getting a raise at 100/110K base.
Technology Wish List for this group (from company):
- 5+ years of C# (multi-threading, complex GUI, generics, design patterns)
- 1-2 years of WPF development experience (Must know how to hand code XAML)
- 3+ years of WinForms GUI development experience
- Solid knowledge of the Windows platform, Win32 API
- C++/MFC skills a huge plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or math
- Great communication skills, good interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Candidate will face a stringent technical interview
