Large Financial Firm - NYC

Looking for a Senior Business Objects Developer.
At least five years of experience, but ideally 8+ yrs professional experience.

Person must have experience gathering requirements from users and the interpersonal skills necessary to work directly with business users in a tier one firm.

This position will support HR and other firmwide (nontrading) businesses. So anyone looking for front office / trading business exposure should not apply.

Person Does NOT need to have financial experience.

Technically person must have:

* Business Objects, "Web Designer" which is an ad-hoc query, reporting, and analysis tool that is used to create queries or use existing reports, format retrieved information and perform analysis to understand trends and root causes.

* Business Objects "Desktop Intelligence" which is a tool that allows users to analyze the data they see, perform ad hoc queries to gather new data, and create their own reports

* Business Objects "Universe Design" which is the relational data mapping between the user applications and the data warehouse.

* SQL Coding Skills and basic Database development skills, eg: tables, indexes, queries, stored procedures etc. Any Major RDBMS.

Person would ideally have some of these extra tech skills:
Microsoft Excel, Crystal Reports, BO / Dashboard Analytics, ETL, C# / .NET, FLEX.
