This proprietary trading firm with International Headquarters is looking to establish a US presence in the Southern USA.

They specialize in High Frequency Equities and Futures. Have a very fast platform with less than 100 micro second latency. The Southern USA is relatively small, but growing and the firm has a road map to grow the US office to compete with larger players in the black, high frequency trading space. For someone coming from one of the larger prop firms it would be an opportunity to work in a more entrepreneurial and probably, more collaborative environment. The firm is happy to help with relocation for those who are genuinely interested in moving to the area.

Hiring for Traders will be an ongoing requirement for this firm.


They want to hire traders, aka quant traders, aka strategists with experience in high frequency equities for futures trading. They'll consider both junior traders with trading ideas which have not yet been monetized as well as senior traders with successful track record. Preference is for traders to have C++ or C# coding skills to test and implement their strategies, especially for junior traders who will be finding their way. Statistical language like R for prototyping of strategies is also fine.

All strategies must be intraday and they would prefer higher frequency strategies, eg in order of minutes, seconds or milli to micro seconds. Also prefer Black Box strategies, either market making or high frequency, which are capable of producing high volumes. They'll also consider 'grey box' traders. They will only consider discretionary traders if they have very well established and impressive track record.

Preference is for Traders who are equal parts Trader, Quant and Developer, but generally they're happy to hire someone who has expertise in two of three areas. Will only consider Traders without any Quant or Development skills if they are very impressive.
