Position Description:
The Bank’s Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) group provides solutions for HR and other areas in the Firm. The IT team develops software and implements third party products, such as Business Objects across a wide range of technologies on both Web and Desktop platforms. These solutions allow HR to transact and report on employee information in a consistent, accurate and timely fashion. The HRIT group supports Global reporting needs for HR in a Business Objects environment. The environment is a mix of internal and vendor hosted BO XI R2 and R3 deployments. This environment supports 1000+ users, 3000+ standard reports and over a dozen Universes. The data warehouses that support reporting leverages both aggregate and granular data views. The work includes: business requirements analysis, universe design, entitlement maintenance, development of Senior Management Metric packages in both standardized and dynamic formats utilizing Business Objects, and working with users to support and guide them on the use of reports.

Must Have:
3 to 5 years experience in the WebIntelligence, DeskTop Intelligence and Designer applications
Experience with SQL development in one of the leading RDBMS (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle)
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Experience working in a distributed environment
Ability to work with Business Analysts and Users to turn requirements into production reports
Self motivated and ability to learn new tools
Experience developing rigidly formatted reports for Senior Management
Ability to handle highly confidential materials within Firm Policy

Nice to Have:
Microsoft Excel development a strong plus
Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus
Experience in BO’s Dash Board Analytics
Ability to lead a small team of solutions engineers
Prior financial services experience
