Looking for very strong developer. They prefer someone with 3-5 years experience who has been working their entire career in a similar job and therefore are relatively senior for how much experience they have, but up to 10 yrs of experience is acceptable. They want strong C++ on UNIX with strong OO skills, Design Patterns, Threading and experience developing a high throughput, low latency system. Must have some performance tuning (C++ Applications) but the more the better. FIX and Equity Trading experience is not required but a big plus.

This group supports electronic equity trading, mostly for institutional clients such as broker dealers and hedge funds. Role will require person to interface with multiple teams to integrate system once fully developed. Person will provide third level support for system. Must be able to maintain calm demeanor while working under tight deadlines.

Pay 100-140K base depending on level. 150-200K+ pkg depending on level.
