They want to hire three people for this role. All senior Java Developers at the VP level. One needs to have Masters in Computer Science with strong expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms.

For each of the roles they want a senior Java developer with strong OO Design and programming skills. The must have experience developing on large scale UNIX based systems. They must know how to develop robust, stable systems with high availability and fault tolerance.

They must have strong server side Java

They must have strong Multihreading

Must have experience not only developing but designing and tuning large scale unix based systems.

Must have strong XML and SQL - ideally an expertise, not just proficiency

It is clearly an advantage to have general financial industry knowledge of securities, trade flow, market data and risk but they will consider an outstanding non -industry guy, but the bar will be higher for them technically.

Comp in the 140K base range with total of 180-250K. -depending on level.
